Here's a recent shot of the kids in the bathtub. They were pretty excited that sister was sitting up and having a bath with them. The novelty of this quickly wore off when they wanted to play, and she was taking their toys. Our little miss is 8 months old already - oh where does the time go - before I know it I will be back at work! :(

As Kids See It
Last year, we decided that our kids needed a pet, and we chose a guinea pig. Clayton was in charge of naming our pet, and he quickly decided on "Oinky". Now we soon discovered that we are in fact not rodent people and the guinea pig became a royal pain ... He proceded to eat all of the lettuce and veggies that a person could throw in the cage. This winter became rather long, and one night Oinky mysteriously ran away. No one seemed to notice for quite some time and when they did were not bothered by this at all. Just the other day while driving home from school, Clayton wondered if a raccoon had gobbled up Oinky yet. I said "pardon me" and he repeated his thought. I said "I'm not too sure why?" He proceeded to explain that it was just a matter of time before Oinky would be gobbled up and he was just wondering if it had happened yet.

Discovered this neat poll about driving style and I thought I'd share. I'm interested to find out how you rate. Here is my driving score. Click on the link below to take the quiz. Have Fun!
| Your Driving Is is: 54% Male, 46% Female |
According to studies, you drive both like a guy and a girl. This means you're a pretty average driver, with typical quirks. Occasionally you're frustrated and or a little reckless, but that's the exception - not the norm. |

In the Spirit of all that is Canadian
My mom bought all of the kids a hockey jersey or in the case of the little miss - a hockey outfit. What a neat surprise when they turned the jerseys around and mom had put their names on the back. What a time we had trying to get everyone to turn around for the picture with their names - they're not used to facing away from the camera for a picture! My niece Jordyn got a pink Canucks Jersey and all of the boys got a Team Canada Jersey. It's perfect timing with the Junior boys team doing so well in Sweden. Colin's kids Jordyn and Wyatt are in the back row and in the front row is Lloyd's son Dion, Clayton and Tanner.

Merry Christmas
Wanting to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and all the best for 2007. We're really looking forward to Christmas this year - the boys are absolutely pumped about Santa this year. We've been busy going to Christmas concerts and parties this week and now school is out! Yahoo!! I'm not sure who is more excited - the kids or me.

Snowed In!!!!

I was originally going to call this Walking in a Winter Wonderland when I woke up Friday morning to a few nice flurries. But by Saturday afternoon when we had accumulated about 3 feet of the lovely white stuff - I no longer felt it was a winter wonderland. In just about 30 hours - we got 3 feet of snow. It's really a little wild. Parts of our fence dividing us and the neighbours has about half a foot showing. I can no longer see some of our lilac bushes. We took a drive around town yesterday afternoon and in most parts there was a little path through the snow for us to drive through. The boys think it is pretty neat - although Clayton was a little cranky at me because he didn't have all of his outdoor toys picked up and I had told him that we had lots of time before winter!!

We've joined the land of the living

Here we have it - a blog of our very own. I too have been a blog snoop, so thought I should get with the times. We are living in BC in a small hick town that many of you are familiar with. We recently celebrated six years of marriage. We have a very busy family of three and life is anything but boring. We have two boys, Clayton who is five and Tanner who is three. This summer we got a little pink one Kendra-Lynn who was born on August 4th.
